institutions all engaged in ICTs. In 2003/2004 more knowledge networks in sectors other than IT will follow.
it@inwent
promotes local ownership and provides a framework that is open to local cultural context and complexity. The Open Source
technology approach within the projects enables the production and representation of contextual local knowledge.
The knowledge building applications provided allow the southern stakeholders to become actors in all parts of the business
chain. it@inwent provides training for operating the new services offered by these applications. In addition to training,
service frameworks and products such as e-learning courses are developed and will be integrated incrementally into the
business portfolio of the network partners in 2003/2004.
